WIOF 2025 started off with a concert with our chamber choir as we featured Britten’s “Rejoice in the Lamb” as well as Eric Sweeney’s Mass of St Patrick by Irish Organist David Leigh and conducted by our artistic director. On the second day we held an all-Bach concert featuring Mahela Reichstatt from Germany. The third day of the concert had seen 3 sessions of the “Carnival of the Animals” Children’s workshop, performed by our artistic director alongside humorous narrations, as well as a creative organ masterclass for organ students given by renowned French organist David Cassan. This was also the first time we included an organ improvisation on a silent movie, brilliantly delivered by David Cassan. The final day of the festival, we were also honored to have Simffoni Mara Trio from Wales as we listen to the premiere of their works in this beautiful venue, and lastly the festival ended off with a lighthearted Sunday noon concert by the Far Flung Trio.
